In a world that is so divided, being driven by the increasingly radical beliefs on both the right and left, many find it hard to compromise and find common ground. On this platform we will dissect the beliefs of students, educators and experts in their fields from all around the world, exploring the interlinkedness between us all.
Common Ground is a platform with the goal of bringing people together through conversation, the sharing of perspectives and understanding. We produce content with people that have all types of different relgious, political and economic perspectives in both the form of podcasts and articles.
Our mission is to foster understanding and empathy among our listeners by exploring a wide range of topics and perspectives. We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in every conversation we host.

Our Host: Luca Akin
Our Mission
Unity and Diversity
Your host, Luca Akin, was born in Miami, USA, and was raised in Madrid, Spain. He currently resides in London with his family where he is finishing High School and in the process hoping to unite his community. He sensed the very palpable feeling of division and polarization in the United States and world as a whole, and knew he had to take initiative to provide whatever unity possible. Through founding Common Ground, his goal was to show the youth and politicians alike how we can have calm and composed conversations with people with different religions, backgrounds and perspectives, and find Common Ground with them on the most divisive of issues.
